Xoom, Tablet made by Motorola's Android 3.0

Motorola finally plunge into the realm by presenting a tablet computer tablet Xoom.
Launched by the Straits Times, Thursday (6/1/2010), Xoom was first introduced by Motorola in the event the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) this week. This device is equipped with touch screen and new Android operating system version 3.0, Honeycomb.
"Xoom will be available in the first quarter of this year. An Android-based tablet that has been eagerly awaited by the fans of Motorola," said Motorola CEO, Sanjay Jha.
Since the iPad was launched in April, almost all vendors are competing to bring the gadget similar devices. Even in this CES event, which was attended by more than 2,600 participants, of whom approximately 100 companies are rumored to be present tablet.
Presented Jha, Xoom has the same size with the IPAD and Jha sure if Android 3.0 will be one thing that can attract buyers to turn away from the IPAD to Xoom.
"Xoom is the first tablet that carries the Android 3.0. Honeycomb is a special OS developed by Google for the tablets. All of them are designed in such a way by Google, a good user interface, and all the interactions in it. Honeycomb has a multi-tasking," said Jha
"All this, I think, will deliver an amazing experience. I believe that Android 3.0 in our tablets will be Xoom as a product that competes in this market," said Jha.
In addition to introducing a tablet, Motorola's Mobility CEO, Sanjay Jha, is also presenting three new touch-screen smartphone based on Android, too.
